Our unparalleled success has now positioned us to expand from a market contender to be the dominant force in the industry, and we are looking for an Applications Engineer to join our elite team of engineers, technicians, and professionals. This role works with sales and engineering to provide product application solutions to prospective customers, partners, and sales reps across the wastewater treatment industry. The Applications Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engineered solutions that meet the projects’ needs.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Work closely with the sales team to determine the project-specific needs of the customer.
- Perform wastewater process engineering calculations to design treatment systems.
- Interpret customer-specific drawings and process data to understand customer processes.
- Collaborate with sales and engineering to develop and prepare customized solutions.
- Size and select equipment for proposed solutions.
- Work closely with the engineering team to understand our products and determine project requirements and potential solutions.
- Work with inside and outside sales teams to estimate costs and develop finalize sales proposals.
- Drive a highly responsive culture to customers, providing accurate, comprehensive, and timely information.
- Work with the R&D team to increase your process and product knowledge base and to develop next-generation wastewater products and process treatment technologies.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, Process or Chemical Engineering or related field.
- An experienced engineer (3 years) in an Engineering role with a strong technical background in wastewater treatment processes or similar.
- An experienced applications engineer (3 years), developing applications for municipal or industrial customers.
- Preferred familiarity with the water/wastewater industry.
- Outstanding work ethic with high personal standards for both productivity and quality.
- Ability to work fast without making mistakes.
- The sincere desire to quickly determine the best solution for customers’ needs.

What We Offer:
Triplepoint offers a competitive compensation package, with a salary of $90,000 USD - $120,000 USD (depending on experience), full benefits including 401k, outstanding profit-sharing potential, and a generous vacation and holiday package.
