DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with Linux experience to lead the development and management of continuous software delivery pipelines. We are open minded to individuals with diverse technical experience. You will work closely with IT and development teams to enhance code delivery processes and improve system reliability. This role is pivotal in designing application architecture and ensuring seamless integration with our cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Automate continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
• Lead and manage infrastructure changes from design to deployment.
• Improve existing infrastructure to adapt to evolving business needs.
• Collaborate with remote and internal development teams.
• Monitor and diagnose mission-critical systems in a cloud environment.

Skills & Experience:

• 3-6 years of IT infrastructure automation experience.
• 2-5 years in a DevOps role.
• Strong Linux experience (virtual machines, Nginx, Bash scripting).
• Proficiency with Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, Grafana) and logging (Elastic).
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google) and artifact management.
• Understanding of networking and database concepts.
• Scripting skills (Python, JavaScript, Groovy) are a plus.

Preferred Experience:

• Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Microsoft Azure and Azure DevOps.
• Microservices architecture.

Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Math, MIS, Business, or equivalent experience.

Future Opportunities:

• Transition to Azure DevOps and microservices.
• Move from Oracle Cloud to Azure.
