What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Director position at Tripoli Nursing & Rehab?
Come join our not-for-profit nursing and rehab facility! Looking for someone handy to help keep this place up to date, in compliance, and transport residents to appointments as needed. We also have rental properties that will need taken care of.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as repairing machinery, equipment, or systems
- Conduct inspections to identify and resolve issues
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Fabricate parts or components as needed
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities with external contractors
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or customers
-Transport residents to and from appointments as needed in our facility vehicle -Remain with resident at appointment if need be
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals
- Experience in facilities maintenance or a related field
- Basic electrical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service orientation - Ability to get a Class D driviers license
