Position Overview:
TriSalus Life Sciences, Inc. (the “Company”) is a growing, oncology focused medical technology business seeking to transform outcomes for patients battling cancer through the manufacturing of our Pressure-Enabled Durg Delivery (PEDD™) devices and researching the application of our investigational immunotherapeutic, nelitolimod.
The Senior Accountant position is responsible for assisting the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records. This position reports to the VP of Finance Operations. This position will also play a key role in supporting the company’s overall financial integrity.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Accountant position is responsible for assisting the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records. This position reports to the VP of Finance Operations.
Maintains, records and reconciles general ledger transactions.
Ensures that all accounting documents conform to company standards regarding required authorizations, accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation
Reconciles subledgers to the general ledger using Dynamics GP.
Prepares reconciliation workpapers and standard journal entries for month end close for review with management.
Updates and manages accruals in Dynamics GP. Reconciles with General Ledger. Creates reports and submits posting entries to supervisor.
Notifies department management of any anomaly, situation or problem and proposes changes or improvements to the workflow.
Assists supervisor with creating department efficiencies.
Assists Finance Team in financial audit and quarterly reviews.
Back-up for accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, billing and administration for Accounting Specialist.
Ad-hoc projects as required.
Qualifications
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting
Three plus years in Public or Corporate accounting experience
A CPA or other designation is a plus.
Work Experience:
Experience in GAAP financial reporting, preferably with a background from a notable public accounting firm auditing publicly traded clients.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Experience using Microsoft Dynamics GP preferred
Proficient in use of Outlook, Excel and Word

Position Located in Bannockburn, IL
Hybrid work arrangement, with 2-3 days a week in the office upon becoming acclimated with the Company, team and needs. Potential of adjusting needs during critical team needs.
Physical Requirements:
This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
