Responsibilities
- Repairs, constructs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintains routine electrical systems and equipment.
- Cuts, threads, bends, couples, and straps conduit.
- Cuts wire and conduit to length. Installs, repairs, or replaces switch boxes, light bulbs, plugs, sockets, light fuses, and extension cords.
- Disassembles motors, generators, and other equipment in preparation for repair.
- Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions, inspects circuits and wiring for shielding and grounding, and tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiency.
- Troubleshoots, repair and installs electronic and programmable Logic Controllers, circuitry, and PC boards into plant machinery.
- Uses blueprints, drawings, layout, or other specifications, and electrical hand tools and voltage-or-amperage measuring and recording devices.
- Requires interpretation of wiring diagrams or schematic drawings.
- May develop wiring diagrams.
- May include maintenance of electronic or solid-state controls having interlocking or interdependent circuits.
- Has working knowledge of the National Electric Code.
- Other work may be assigned at Management’s discretion.
- Must have strong electrical and PLC manufacturing background and possess advance knowledge of CNC machines
- 5 years of experience with PLC, VFD, HMI
