POSITION DESCRIPTION: In this key role, you will provide leadership to our Cosmetics, OTCs, and Dietary
Supplements (COS) testing laboratory. As the Laboratory Director, you will be responsible for the strategic
and overall supervision of laboratory operations, long range planning and the implementation of strategies
for developing and expanding the business. You must ensure that our services are following the company's
quality requirements; in addition to complying with customer regulatory requirements for quality, safety, and
reliability.

Essential Functions
- Develop and implement strategic business initiatives with the objective of consistently producing

- Ensure that client needs are met with on-time delivery and proactive communication to develop winwin partnerships.
- Deliver on customer demands and corporate initiatives while consistently driving EBITDA growth

- Responsible for the selection and establishment of appropriate test methodology. Interact with
interdepartmental initiatives and interactions to best meet the needs of the client/project.
- Ensure adherence to QA components and objectives and ensure that targets are achieved.
- Define and write operational procedures in adherence with regulatory standards.
- Participate in large project proposals with attention to profitability and client satisfaction.
- Proactively participate in trade and professional associations in collaboration with the sales and

Position Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree in a science discipline; Chemistry is highly preferred.
- Must have 5 to 7 years of experience managing a staff of 70 to 100 people, including managing upper
- Must have 7 to 10 years of experience with cosmetic, OTC, or dietary supplement quality systems and
- Experience in a TIC space is highly preferred.
- QC or RA experience within the cosmetic, OTC, or dietary supplement industries is a plus.
