REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

DELIVERABLES
The deliverables for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Legal (Real Estate and Corporate)
- Assist with research, drafting, reviewing and finalization of real estate and corporate documents
- Notarize legal and other business documents
- Create and maintain legal and office templates (Microsoft Word)
- Manage legal input into leasing/financial software database (Visual Lease)
- Manage legal input into project management database (ASANA), including lease dates and deadlines
- Calculate and track corporate calendar for corporate filing deadlines and generally maintain corporate record-keeping
- Perform clerical and administrative duties and assist with other special projects as needed
- Office Supplies: monitor and ordering of office supplies, anticipate office needs and evaluate new products
- General Correspondence: Retrieve (from building mailbox), scan, and distribute all incoming and outgoing postal mail, overnight courier mail and packages, and product shipments
- Meeting Rooms: Ensure meeting rooms have adequate equipment (conference phones, cables, screens) and refreshments
- Together with office IT team, ensure operation of office equipment; troubleshoot malfunctioning office equipment; order maintenance and coordinate service calls
- Serve as building proctor and report maintenance issues
- Assist in the organization and planning of meetings, conferences and other company events
- Assist with corporate communication
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in almost any field or associate degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or related field. Paralegal certification (e.g., NALA or NFPA) preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in real estate, development, litigation, or a related legal field.
- Experience with real estate transactions and litigation is highly desirable.
- Working knowledge of leases.
- Strong understanding of real estate law, and basic litigation.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal document management software.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and work under deadlines.
- Attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills..
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
- Highly organized and able to maintain confidentiality.
