What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outside Sales Representative position at TriSearch?
The Outside Sales Representative will work with other members of the Sales team to increase company profitability and customer satisfaction by ensuring professional, quality, and timely delivery of product to the company’s existing customers as well as generate new customer business. Outside Sales Representatives will represent the company in a highly professional, safe, and effective manner.
Job Duties :
- Identify and establish contact with potential customers
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers
- Perform all assigned duties in the assigned sales territory.
- Secure opportunities to quote on customer requirements.
- Follow up on quotations submitted to customers.
- Establish professional customer / vendor relationships with appropriate customer personnel
- Secure orders from existing and potential customers by means of visiting the customer facility or contacting by phone, email or social media
- Analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements and monitor the preferences of customers.
- Submit weekly activity reports concerning customer-related activities for quotes, orders, and problems concerning customer / vendor relationships.
- Provide a territory sales forecast on a monthly basis.
- Attend industry trade shows to identify potential sales leads and make meaningful contact with existing customers
- Follow industry trends to identify new opportunities for potential sales
- Recommend marketing strategies to target a specific region or demographic
- Generate and submit sales reports to management
