Location : The position will be in Alpharetta, GA at our headquarters for the US operations.
Key Aspects of the Job :
Business Units : The HR business partner will be responsible for supporting the following locations : Alpharetta, GA (HQ), Calvert, AL, Mobile, AL, Huger, S.C, and Decatur, AL, so there will be travel involved.
The Sr. Human Resource Business Partner is a senior-level position reporting to the VP of Human Resources for the US. This position is responsible for delivering all aspects of the function. Responsibilities include :
Talent Acquisition Partner :
Work closely with hiring managers and compensation to understand, evaluate, and post requisitions that accurately reflect the duties, responsibilities, qualifications, and special factors required for the positions.
Identify and help management define the best strategy for the identification and selection of candidates.
Actively participate in the selection of the final candidates and ensure the compensation offers are competitive, internally equitable, and affordable.
Facilitate positive employee experience from offer to onboarding and coach hiring managers in providing appropriate job orientation and development plans. (Model that retention starts on Day 1.)
Work closely with line managers to drive assessment, succession plans, and development of internal talent to ensure appropriate resources are available to meet business needs.
Employee Engagement :
Design and drive HR plans, programs, and practices across the US Region, with measurable metrics that support business and employee engagement goals.
Drive transformation programs that ensure talent development and employee engagement via training, communication, total rewards, and recognition.
Lead and advise on talent management practices within assigned business units related to workforce planning, talent acquisition strategy planning, leadership development, employee development, career planning, and talent mobility.
General HR Partner :
Understand the business, cultural dynamics, and strategy through building and maintaining relationships with managers and peers. Be visible within each business unit on a regular basis.
Maintain a current and solid understanding of federal and state employment laws and be able to successfully brief management to ensure compliance.
Provide advice and counsel to management including interpretation regarding HR programs, practices, policies, and general employee issues. Make process recommendations as needed and execute those approved. Actively participate in Management Development Training and other development training tracks as needed.
Provide proactive guidance to management in the areas of performance feedback, recognition, performance development, and compensation. Focus on continual engagement improvement. Motivate and assist management to identify and address performance and behavioral issues in a timely and proper manner.
Facilitate Performance Management Process (PMP) compliance, coaching smart target setting and accurate performance appraisal completion through regular dialogues with managers.Ensure high-potential candidates are identified and that managers are formalizing development plans.
Challenge the status quo and serve as a positive agent for new initiatives and change. Accomplish improvement and results through influence and active support.
Leads employee relations investigations and makes sound recommendations for resolution. Provides advice and counsel to employees and managers as appropriate to resolve employee issues and minimize exposure and risk for the company.Understands and proactively identifies potential issues that could affect employee retention, the companys reputation as an employer, or profitability.Meets with employees to deliver disciplinary notices and clarify expectations.Escalates issues to senior management as appropriate.
Develops and executes required HR projects from beginning to end.Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders. Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelors degree required, (MBA is a plus) in Human Resources or a related field. SPHR / PHR.
Must have the ability to travel to various locations.
10 years of HR experience.
Proficiency using MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Teams
Ability to define and maintain key metrics and provide reporting and analytics on staffing status to internal customers.

A well-organized and self-directed individual who is a team player.
Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources network involvement is preferred.
