CVP Towson is a long-standing, family-owned restaurant and bar located in the heart of downtown Towson, MD. We are seeking a full-time, on-site Marketing Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have approximately two years of experience in marketing, preferably in the restaurant or hospitality industry, and a passion for driving customer engagement and sales growth. This role involves managing social media, promoting events, creating content, booking parties, and supporting bartenders and staff in marketing efforts. The Marketing Assistant will play a vital role in building the CVP brand and driving business success. This position offers a supportive environment with growth opportunities, including performance-based incentives.

Key Responsibilities :

Social Media Management :
Create and schedule engaging content for Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, and Facebook to promote daily specials, events, and staff shifts.
Develop and execute social media campaigns to increase followers and engagement.
Respond to customer inquiries and reviews on social platforms

Email Marketing :

Design and send weekly email campaigns featuring promotions, events, and special offers.

Maintain and grow the customer email database.

Event & Party Bookings :

Promote CVP as a venue for private parties, corporate events, and celebrations.

Conduct outreach to past and potential customers for booking opportunities.

Coordinate event details with clients to ensure smooth execution.

In-Person Marketing & Outreach :

Build relationships with local businesses, neighborhood associations, and universities to promote CVP.

Distribute promotional materials in the community.

Content Creation :

Develop high-quality images and videos for use in marketing campaigns.

Collaborate with bartenders and staff to create promotional content for their social networks.

Promotions :

Develop and market creative promotions, including happy hours, bands, themed nights, sports events, and seasonal specials.

Track promotion effectiveness and adjust strategies as needed.

General Marketing Duties :

Plan and execute specialized marketing campaigns, including geofencing and social media ads.

Monitor and report on the performance of marketing activities.

Stay updated on industry trends to bring fresh ideas to CVP’s marketing strategy.

Qualifications :

2 years of marketing experience, preferably in the restaurant, bar, or hospitality industry.

Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, Facebook) and basic graphic design tools (e.g., Canva).

Strong content creation skills, including photo and video editing.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Enthusiastic, creative, and goal-oriented, with a passion for hospitality.

Basic understanding of email marketing platforms like Constant Contact.

Experience with event planning and client outreach is a plus.
