This position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of solar equipment and materials.
Job Summary:
As a Solar Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our solar equipment warehouse. Your duties will include receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, managing inventory, organizing the warehouse, and assisting with equipment preparation for solar installations. The ideal candidate should be highly organized, physically fit, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments of solar panels, inverters, racking systems, and related materials. Inspect items for damage and verify accuracy of deliveries.

Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including regular cycle counts and inventory reconciliation. Ensure proper organization and labeling of products within the warehouse.

Order Fulfillment: Prepare solar equipment and materials for outbound shipments to installation sites. Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently.

Quality Control: Perform quality checks on solar equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and report any defects or issues.

Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe. Arrange materials and equipment to maximize space utilization.

Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance checks on warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, and report any issues.

Assist Installations Team: Support the installations team by loading trucks with necessary equipment and materials for solar projects.

Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents promptly.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and equipment maintenance.

Collaboration: Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely and accurate deliveries to installation sites.
Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, often in excess of 50 pounds.
