What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction OnSite Superintendent OCONUS position at Trison Construction Inc.?
TCI is seeking On-Site Superintendent with a strong background in commercial building construction to support our worldwide US Government design-build construction projects. The position entails working on a busy construction site overseas, generally away from the employee’s family, and in countries whose laws and social norms may be much more restrictive and work conditions tougher than in the United States. Work involves a 60-hour workweek, 6 days a week/ 10 hours per day. Flexibility with hours/days is required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervision of construction work on the project site in strict accordance with the contract documents.
Work in a team environment with other Project Managers, Engineers and other company staff members.
Perform a key role in maintaining work productivity and keeping project on schedule and budget.
Oversee and coordinate subcontractor's work according to plans and specification..
Manage self-performing work crews consisting of both US and local country personnel.
Devise the project work plans and make revisions as and when need arises.
Maintain strict adherence to the quality and safety standards.
Other duties as assigned by Project Manager
Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of five (5) years of commercial or government construction project experience as superintendent, or project manager. International construction experience is a plus.
Knowledge, skill, and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards
Highly professional verbal and written communication skills.
Highly motivated with great organizational, team, and customer service skills.
Possess or must be eligible for federal government security clearance
**U.S. CITIZEN's with any ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE is required.**
Salary : $95,000 - $115,000
