Staff Accountant
A large and growing organization in Bethesda, MD is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a permanent position with a salary ranging from $55-65k, commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Prepares a wide variety of financial and operation reports, journal entries, financial statements, and supporting schedules.
- Reconciles bank statements, prepares various insurance reports and other reports required by regulating agencies.
- Assists in annual audits.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of progressively more responsible experience in general accounting, preferably in a healthcare environment.
- Professional experience and knowledge of accounting principles and theory
- Professional experience with financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, and computerized accounting systems and related computerized systems
- Experience with an ERP system
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
