TriSource is hiring for an Assistant Teacher to work with a non-profit Head Start program in Tampa, FL that serves children with intellectual and developmental disabilities ages infant to 5 years old! If you have a passion for working with children and making a difference, this is the job for you!
Schedule:
Monday-Friday
7:30am-5:30pm
*** 8 hour shifts, must be flexible to work within those 10 hours.
Responsibilities:
-Assist in preparing, planning, and facilitating daily programs that are age appropriate and cognitively stimulating
- Communicate with parents daily regarding child's progress and activities
- Health and safety including changing diapers, preparing bottles and food, and feeding at meal times
- Communicate both written and orally with staff, children, and parents
-Demonstrate professionalism, engagement, and kindness to all children and families
Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience working in an early childhood setting
- Comfortability to work with infants to preschool-aged children
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- 50-hour DCF Early Learning Training REQUIRED
- CPR/First Aide Certificate for Infants and Adults
- CDA a plus but not required
Pay rate:
- $15-$16 per hour
