Position: Behavioral Health Technician
Location: Richmond, VA
Shift Available:
- Full-Time (40 hours per week)
- 12:00 AM - 8:30 AM, with rotating weekends
As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of female clients while helping them navigate their treatment plans. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide support in both clinical and daily living activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assist clients with daily living tasks such as housekeeping, laundry, and meal coordination.
- Greet clients upon their arrival for treatment, ensuring a welcoming and supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation to track client progress.
- Assist with facilitating group activities, providing support and encouragement.
- Coordinate with the treatment team to assist in patient discharges.
- Promote and encourage clients to adhere to their treatment and behavioral health goals.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, Counseling, or a related field.
- Eligibility to obtain a QMHP-T certification.
- Preferred: QMHP-T/A/C certification.
- At least 1 year of experience working with individuals who have mental health conditions, substance use disorders, or in group facilitation.
- Proficiency with clinical documentation and basic computer skills.
Pay Rate:
- $23.31 per hour
