What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Counselor position at TriSource?
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people? TriSource is seeking a dedicated Residential Counselor to work with youth ages 12-18. In this role, you will support the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans to help improve outcomes and promote positive growth for each youth.
Responsibilities:
- Work with youth who experience mental health difficulties, trauma, and teenage parenthood
- Conduct inspections according to a schedule and need
- Assist in crisis intervention
- Assist in helping youth meet goals as identified by service plans
- Support constructive resident-family visitation and involvement in community activities
- Supervision of residents
- Maintain documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Human Services preferred, OR, High School Diploma and at least 6 months of relevant experience
- Experience working with youth and children preferred
- Valid Drivers License
- Clean background and able to pass a drug test
Working Hours:
Saturday-Sunday: 6:30am-6:30pm or 6:30pm-6:30am
2 weekdays: 2:30pm-10:30pm or 10:30pm-6:30am
Must be able to work every weekend
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Salary : $22 - $25
