The Role
You’ll own everything from monthly closes and financial reporting to audits, tax compliance, and controls. You’ll be a trusted strategic advisor, playing a pivotal role as we scale, expand internationally, and continue evolving. You’ll serve as a key strategic advisor, helping guide the business through scaling, cross-border expansion, and continued transformation.
What You’ll Own
- Lead global consolidation efforts, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP and international accounting standards.
- Direct the monthly close process across multiple entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Strengthen internal controls, policies, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage external audit processes, driving seamless coordination for on-time and efficient completion.
- Lead tax compliance efforts, working in close partnership with external advisors to maintain adherence to regulations.
- Ensure the punctual and accurate delivery of financial statements, while ensuring compliance with third-party lease and loan agreement obligations.
- Design and execute scalable financial workflows that boost both efficiency and precision in reporting.
- Hire, supervise, and lead a high-performing accounting team, fostering an environment that supports business growth and operational excellence.
- Offer strategic guidance on intricate financial matters as the company expands.
- Draft and review technical accounting documentation for significant transactions and financial arrangements.
- Stay abreast of updates in US GAAP and IFRS, advising leadership on the strategic impact of new regulations and developments.
Who You Are
- CPA or CPA Candidate actively sitting required.
- 8 years of advanced accounting experience, with a background in Big 4 or national CPA firm and in multi-entity corporate settings (experience in retail, hospitality, or consumer spaces preferred).
- In-depth knowledge of US GAAP and a solid understanding of IFRS.
- Extensive experience in financial reporting, consolidations, and managing intercompany transactions across multiple entities.
- Hands-on experience with quarterly and annual audits, tax filings, and ensuring compliance in both the US and international markets.
- Proven track record of implementing and enhancing internal controls while optimizing accounting processes.
- Proficient in large ERP systems with a deep understanding of their functionality and potential.
- Strong leadership abilities with a focus on mentoring and developing accounting talent.
- Analytical mindset with a proven ability to solve complex problems and collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.

Salary : $180,000 - $200,000
