Primary Responsibilities :
- Assignments are usually part of a larger engineering project including analysis of requirements, documentation of design, implementation, and integration of moderate to complex mechanical systems and components.
- Responsible for the design and documentation of mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware such as gear boxes, motors, hydraulic pumps, bearings, and large rotating equipment.
- Support the creation of component control systems and methods.
- Perform analysis on components to ensure such requirements as sizing, strength, and dynamic load are met throughout the design life-cycle.
- Contribute to prototyping and testing activities to verify product requirements compliance.
