Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to implement tools and processes to ensure suppliers starting new work are prepared and have robust plans to deliver first time quality to our program customers. The person will also investigate, evaluate, and resolve supplier quality problems by analyzing defect trends. Leading continuous improvement projects (Lean Six Sigma) and partnering with Category teams conducting Supplier audits. You must be a self-starting problem solver who will utilize your analytical skills to find innovative solutions to quality-related issues (Root Cause & Corrective Action Expert). Strong communication skills are required to facilitate program demands and ensure suppliers understand requirements and expectations.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technology, and at least twelve (12) years of experience.
Preferred Skills
Lean Six Sigma Root-Cause and Corrective Actions Methodology (RCCA Expert) AS9145: APQP/PPAP IPC-A-600, AS9100, NADCAP, Special Process understanding.
Experience Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technology, and at least twelve (12) years of experience.
