Position Details :
Title : Program Quality Engineer
Pay : $60.00 - $75.00 / hr on w2!
Location : Goleta, CA (Onsite)
Citizenship Requirement : US Citizenship required
Job Description
What is the primary mission of this role?
Provide Quality support to Space programs.
What are the main functions of this role?
Create quality planning to administer customer and internal quality requirements to Client's program teams and supply base including First Article Inspection (FAI) planning.
Ensure Quality Engineering engagement in program development, design, test requirements and verification, including the transition of design into production.
Onsite support for hardware review and non-conforming material disposition.
Support for onsite customer inspections and End Item data package completion and reviews.
Required Skill Sets :
Quality Engineering or Operations experience with working knowledge of engineering development, material acquisition, production, test, & product acceptance.
Experience working with Space hardware.
Desired Skill Sets :
Infrared industry, semiconductor processing or DoD industry experience preferably working with the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) or with Mission Planning for National Security Space Vehicles.
Years of Experience Required (if any) :
Minimum of 5 years' experience.
Education Level Required :
BS STEM degree.
How will the contractor's success be measured? :
Completion of discrete tasks such as FAI planning and execution along with matrix feedback from Integrated Product Team with respect to the effective implementation and flow down of Quality requirements.
Customer feedback regarding support for onsite customer inspections and End Item data package reviews.
Culture :
Working in a collaborative team environment in which communication and collaboration across the team are the most significant determiners of successful program execution.
