- Support and maintain EMS and SCADA applications, including XA-21 and related interfaces
- Analyze business needs and technical problems to deliver real-time operational solutions
- Troubleshoot system issues, work from issue logs, and coordinate with vendors (eg, ZE)
- Configure EMS interfaces to enterprise apps like ESB, OSI PI, and APIs
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and liaison between IT teams, project stakeholders, and business partners
- Build and modify HMI screens and maintain EMS-related databases
- Participate in weekly project meetings, interface with EPCs, and support 3 regional systems (CO, TX, MN)
- Follow NERC-CIP guidelines and change management processes using tools like ServiceNow
- 7–10 years supporting EMS/SCADA systems (preferably XA-21 or similar)
- Hands-on with ICCP, RTU, real-time data broadcasting, and historian systems like OSIsoft PI
- Proficiency in scripting/programming languages: Python, PowerShell, C/C , PERL, VB, Linux
- Strong analytical skills and troubleshooting mindset for real-time operations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments and vendors
- Familiarity with regulated support environments including NERC-CIP compliance
- Experience with AGC/GDC, TSM, Time & Frequency, Sequential Control, and SOE/Alarm management
- Hands-on in Linux environments and system integrations
- Experience with Digi, Engage, Meinbergs, and OATI Web apps
- Proven record of custom script development and automation for EMS environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Certifications in EMS/SCADA, control systems, or networking protocols are a plus

- Competitive Salary – $164,000 – $174,000 annually, based on experience
