You’ll unify backend and frontend squads, champion Agile engineering excellence, and help steer the transition from a custom .NET stack to OroCommerce (PHP/Symfony). Your Role & Responsibilities

• Lead Agile delivery across engineering teams, managing sprint cadence, release forecasting, and backlog health.
• Drive QA modernization by embedding test automation and shift-left quality principles across the SDLC.
• Evolve CI/CD pipelines and improve deployment reliability through automation and environment-specific health checks.
• Mentor Tech Leads and engineers, fostering a high-performance culture focused on innovation, learning, and accountability.
• Own sprint reporting and release metrics; represent Engineering in cross-functional leadership forums.
  
  

Skills & Experience You Should Possess

• 8 years of software development experience, with 3 years leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Expertise in either .NET/C# or PHP/Symfony (exposure to both is a major plus).
• Proven experience building and scaling e-commerce or subscription platforms, including shopping carts, fulfillment, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with Agile practices: backlog grooming, story slicing, and team metrics.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, branching strategies, and cloud-based environment management.
• Strong background in test automation and API tools such as Postman, Swagger, Playwright, Cypress, PHPUnit, Selenium, or xUnit.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical risks into business language.
  
  

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience migrating from monolith to SaaS-based e-commerce (e.g., OroCommerce, Magento).
• Exposure to iPaaS platforms (Boomi, Workato, MuleSoft).
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or automation frameworks.
• Background in WCAG accessibility standards and performance optimization.
• Understanding of Terraform/Bicep and container orchestration with Docker or Kubernetes.
  
  

Education & Certifications You Need

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
