  • The RN Resident delivers high-quality, patient-centered care according to the specific needs of the department, adhering to the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with healthcare providers, the RN Resident provides individualized and compassionate care through established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. You will serve as a patient advocate, enhancing the overall patient experience.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Assess patient conditions upon admission and during shifts, reporting any changes to the care team.
  • Perform medical procedures as ordered, documenting all care provided in the patient's medical record on time.
  • Administer prescribed medications while monitoring for therapeutic responses, and notify providers of any issues.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs, always striving to anticipate and resolve them proactively.
  • Educate patients and families about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and potential side effects, ensuring clear understanding.
  • Qualifications :

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within one year of hire.
  • Other certifications may be required during employment.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Current Registered Nurse License or eligibility as a Graduate Nurse in the State.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Some travel may be necessary for training sessions.
