Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our small, close-knit accounting team. The ideal candidate will handle accounts payable, Visa card management, and accounts receivable collections, while also cross-training in general office duties and other accounting related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable: Process invoices, verify transactions, and ensure timely payments.
- Accounts Receivable Collections: Follow up on outstanding balances and maintain customer payment records.
- Visa Card Management: Monitor and reconcile company credit card transactions.
- Cross-Training Responsibilities: Assist with accounts receivable functions and general office work as needed.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to learn and use Syspro ERP for accounts payable processing.
- Familiarity with DDX document management system or willingness to learn.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Teams for communication and data management.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
- Prior experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related financial roles preferred.
Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $22 – $25 per hour (based on experience).
