Job Summary and Qualifications
As an MRI Technologist, you will perform various imaging procedures as ordered by physicians and manage daily operations to ensure high-quality patient care in a diagnostic and therapeutic setting.
Key Responsibilities :
Oversee the MRI department's operations effectively.
Assist the MRI Supervisor in managing departmental functions, taking into account budget constraints, equipment needs, personnel requirements, quality improvement, and patient care for all age groups.
Exhibit knowledge of growth and development principles and evaluate data that reflects each patient's specific needs.
Provide compassionate and holistic care while ensuring the rights and dignity of every patient are upheld.
Qualifications :
Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technologist program.
Current registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT).
MRI registered or obtaining registration within 6 months of hire.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
One year of MRI experience is preferred.
