Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN with On-Call Requirement
We are seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at TriStar Skyline Medical Center.
Job Summary:
This position performs general nuclear medicine and PET CT exams, providing the highest level of customer service and image quality. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist also receives, calibrates, logs, administers, and monitors the decay of radioactive isotopes following appropriate policies, procedures, and radiation safety practices.
Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine exams following protocols and in a timely manner, ensuring a high quality of care.
- Record patients' medical information.
- Coordinate patient flow and check the daily list to ensure all exams are complete.
- Adhere to the facility ICARE values.
- Be knowledgeable in the handling of radioactive materials.
- Properly measure radioactive waste and know how to dispose of it properly in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
