As a Sterile Processing Technician, you play a role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients. You are responsible for meticulously cleaning, decontaminating, assembling, sterilizing, and storing all reusable surgical instruments. Certified Central Sterile Technician
What you will do in this role:
- You will prepare instruments and supplies through cleaning, packing, sterilizing and storing procedures.
- You will understand principles of sterilization techniques and operates sterilization equipment.
- You will assemble all instruments, trays, and drill drays for operating rooms according to policies and procedures.
- You will perform equipment distribution and routing cleaning and maintenance.
- You will perform crash cart restocking/exchange.
- You will follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
- Certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD required or Certified Surgical Tech.
- Experience preferred, but not required.
