Emergency Department Nurse Role
We are seeking a skilled Emergency Department Nurse to join our team at TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center.
About the Role:
- You will work collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide high-quality patient care.
- You will be responsible for assessments, reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, and communication of patient needs.
- You will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed records.
- You will order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
- You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.

Requirements:
- CURRENT RN licensure by TN Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.
- CURRENT BLS from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS and PALS within 1 year of employment.
- CPI within 6 months of employment.
This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state, and/or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
