Rehab Nurse?
Registered Nurse performs direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act.
The Registered Nurse utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice and maintains a safe therapeutic environment. They identify nursing problems as they relate to individual patient needs and plan individualized patient care using an interdisciplinary approach.
The Registered Nurse participates in performance improvement activities and provides care and coordinates participation that fosters the goals of the hospital's mission and vision statement.
What you will do in this role:
· Assess and evaluate patient care needs and carry out physician orders.
· Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
· Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate using computerized documentation systems.
· Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
What qualifications you will need:
· A Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing.
· Current licensure with the Tennessee Board of Nursing.
· Current BLS certification.
· ACLS within 6 months of hire.
· One year of clinical nursing experience is preferred.
