Job Summary and Qualifications
The Director of Clinical Operations is accountable and responsible for coordination of department / function activities to ensure delivery of quality patient care in a safe and therapeutic environment. The Director provides effective leadership that supports the mission, vision, and strategic plan of the organization and its values. This role manages department operations to include staff schedule, staff productivity, resource utilization and expense management to ensure quality patient care and to achieve maximum financial performance. The Director oversees the duties of Bed Management, Float Pool staff, House Supervisors, IV Therapy, Wound Care, and utilization of contract labor.

TriStar Summit is a 200 bed comprehensive facility. We serve Davidson, Wilson and surrounding counties. We include a Level III Trauma Center. We offer a full array of acute care services. These include cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics / spine, rehabilitation and women’s services. We are an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI. We are a Primary Stroke Center. TriStar Summit is a leading provider of emergency heart and stroke care.
