Job Summary and Qualifications

The Mammography Technologist performs a variety of technical procedures that require rational independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative in performing women’s imaging exams with basic departmental functions and goals.

What you will do in this role:

• 
  As Mammographer or Mammo Tech, you will perform radiologic procedures to the board, facility and national standards.

• 
  You will promote customer service initiatives.

• 
  In this role, you will provide continuous observation of telemetry monitors.

• 
  You will document notes in PACS

What qualifications you will need:

• 
  Radiologic Technologist specializing in Mammography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date

• 
  1-2 years of experience in Mammo preferred

• 
  Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

TriStar Summit is a 234-bed comprehensive facility with a full spectrum of services, including cardiology, emergency, oncology, orthopedics/spine, rehabilitation and women’s services. As an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI and a Primary Stroke Center, TriStar Summit specializes in emergency heart and stroke care.
