TRISTAR is seeking a Computer or Electrical Engineer III for our government customer in Crane, IN
- We are seeking an experienced Computer or Electrical Engineer to join our team
- The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing administrative tasks for government projects supporting the Navy's SLQ-59 and CV6 systems
- Requires a blend of technical expertise and project management skills to ensure the successful execution of complex engineering projects
- Project Management:
- o Assist in planning, scheduling, and coordinating project activities
- o Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports
- o Ensure compliance with government regulations and project specifications
- o Manage project documentation, including contracts, technical reports, and project plans
- Technical Oversight:
- o Provide technical guidance and support for the SLQ-59 and CV6 systems
- o Oversee the design, development, and testing of system components
- o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met
- o Conduct technical reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards
- Administrative Tasks:
- o Maintain project records and ensure all documentation is up-to-date
- o Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and document meeting minutes
- o Assist in budget management and resource allocation
- Stakeholder Communication:
- o Liaise with government officials, contractors, and other stakeholders
- o Ensure clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle
- o Address and resolve any project-related issues or concerns
- Ability to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with the Navy's SLQ-59 and CV6 systems is highly desirable
- Proven track record in project management and administrative tasks
- Ability to travel up to 10%
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- PMP is a plus
