What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineering Tech V (AN/SQL-32) position at TRISTAR?
TRISTAR is seeking a Engineering Tech V (AN/SQL-32) for our government customer in Crane, IN
- The Engineering Tech V (AN/SQL-32) shall provide support for the overhaul/refurbishment of AN/SLQ-32 antenna shelters
- Travel may be required to remove and reinstall the antenna shelters
- Remove electronics equipment from antenna shelters and properly store them while the shelter structure is refurbished
- Shelters may or may not be completely disassembled based on the level of refurbishment required
- Shelters will be reassembled mechanically and electronically after refurbishment is finished
Position Responsibilities:
- Shall remove electronics equipment from antenna shelters and properly store them while the shelter structure is refurbished.
- Shall disassemble all shelters based on level of requirement required for refurbishment
- Shall ensure that Shelters will be reassembled mechanically and electronically after refurbishment is finished
- Shall be able to lift 50 pounds
- Mechanically inclined to use power tools and other types of tools
- Must be able to follow SOPs
- Must be a US Citizen
- An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one
Education and Certification:
- High School and 2 years experience
