Power Supply Specialist III Job Description
At TRISTAR, we are currently seeking a skilled Power Supply Specialist III to join our team of experts. This individual will be responsible for providing engineering support for power supply test set maintenance and development, as well as power supply system/subsystem design, development, reverse engineering, and test development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop power supply systems and subsystems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electronics and electronic sub-assemblies, including power supplies and power sub-systems.
- Collaborate with technicians to track and monitor obsolescence and DMS issues with MMSP components and sub-systems.
- Provide limited guidance to junior level engineers on tasking performed.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with Multi-Mission signal processor strongly preferred but not required.
- Electrical engineering skills related to troubleshooting, creating interconnect diagrams, and understanding schematic diagrams.
- Ability to create and follow test plans and procedures.
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical progress and issues.
- Must be a US Citizen.
- An Active Secret Clearance is required or the ability to obtain one.
