The HR Specialist will be responsible for providing comprehensive day to day support to the Human Resources department. This role will assist in maintaining employee records, managing HR documentation, coordinating recruitment efforts, and supporting daily HR functions. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Assist in the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities.
- Prepare and process HR-related documentation, such as contracts, offer letters, and employee handbooks.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures.
- Assist in benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee communication.
- Organize and maintain HR filing systems, both digital and physical, to ensure compliance and easy retrieval of documents.
- Assist in employee relations initiatives, including engagement programs, training sessions, and performance management processes.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies.
- Assist with HR projects, such as policy development, training initiatives, and process improvements.
- Perform other HR-related administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 2 years of experience in an HR administrative role or similar position.
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, labor laws, and best practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Experience with payroll and benefits administration is a plus.

Salary : $60,000 - $70,000
