Job Summary:
Tri-State Health is recruiting for a per diem CNA transport aid in our Peri-Operative Services Department.
Duties:
- Assists nurses with patient care and transportation
- Performs duties to maintain unit activities, environment and safety
- Performs duties related to patient care consistent with hospital policies, as directed by the Registered Nurse
- Assists with pre-operative transfer of patients to preoperative area
- Duties expanded as directed
Qualifications:
Education and Training:
- High school graduate or GED required
Licensures/ Certifications:
- Current Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant license required
- Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period
Experience:
- Medical background/previous hospital experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to take direction and follow through
