Job Summary:
The receptionist creates the first impression of the Center. He/she greets patients and guests, coordinates collection of patient demographic and insurance information and registers the patient into the EMR. This person must have advanced clerical experience, strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills.
Education and Training:
- High school diploma or GED
Experience:
- Two year previous office experience preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Familiarity with medical terminology and surgical procedures nomenclature.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent phone etiquette, strong interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, other office software and hardware.
