What are the responsibilities and job description for the Culinary Professional position at TriState Health?
Job Summary:
Assist Cafe customers, handle cash, operate cash register, and perform clerical duties. Follow cash handling policies and procedures; Ensure proper accountability of monies issued; Complete daily cash reports. Participate in theme day decorating and wear appropriate attire. Maintain organized work area; Follow proper quality assurance and infection control procedures when preparing and serving food; Demonstrate proper use, maintenance and sanitation of all equipment related to area of responsibility; Communicate suggestions, concerns, problems and unsafe conditions promptly to appropriate supervisor or manager; Exhibit professional courtesy toward patients, visitors, customers, and employees; Perform other duties as assigned based on departmental needs. Float position will have varying schedule that may include cooking, Ambassador position, utility or cash register position.
Education and Training:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Licensures/Certifications:
Washington Food Handlers Card
Experience:
Two years in customer service/food industry
Skills and Abilities:
Computer programs such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word knowledge is desired.
