What are the responsibilities and job description for the Respiratory Therapist, PRN position at TriState Health?
We are recruiting for a PRN Respiratory Therapist in our Cardio/Pulmonary Department. The Respiratory Therapist administers respiratory therapy to assist, control and/or improve patients' breathing. Administers oxygen and other medical gases, aerosolized medications, positive pressure breathing devices, ventilators, resuscitation devices, etc. Performs pulmonary diagnostic procedures and assessments and performs additional related duties as assigned or necessary.
Education and Training:
Respiratory therapists must have a minimum of an associate degree from an accredited respiratory therapy education program.
Licensures/ Certifications:
Licensed by the State of Washington as a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist or LPN. All cardio-pulmonary techs must have a current ACLS certificate including managers. All new hires must complete the ACLS course within one year. Current American Heart Associations BLS/CPR certification card on hire or within orientation period.
Experience:
One year of clinical experience preferred.
