Duties
- Be responsible for the safe storage of products within company guidelines.
- Report and clean up any damages within the warehouse.
- Perform daily checks on operating equipment.
- Maintain performance monitoring charts for different aspects of the warehouse process as required
- Perform all tasks to a high standard to meet Standard Operating Procedures and processes.
- Ensure DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time) is the key focus to all activities undertaken.
- Liaise with other warehouse team members, production staff, maintenance staff, wider supply chain team and external logistics/transport teams to ensure an effective and efficient daily operation.
- Assist the Warehouse Group Lead – Inventory with problem solving and maintenance fault solutions within the warehouse as required.
- Demonstrate and promote a proactive commitment to health & safety, wellbeing and the environment whilst complying with all laws and company policies
- Communicate effectively with Warehouse Group Lead - Inventory, warehouse team and production management to ensure the long-term goals and targets are met.
- Support companywide initiatives to improve service levels to our customers.
- Be an active functional member of the warehouse/production team. Co-operation and input will be required in relation to team performance, site growth and planning meetings
- Undertake identified personal training / development approved by the Warehouse Manager.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Two (2) years experience operating a forklift and/or reach truck.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively is desirable.
- Experience with materials handling techniques and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Meet all necessary qualifications to safely operate mobile equipment, i.e., stand-up, reach truck, tow motor, etc.
- Willingness to adhere to safety standards and practices at all times.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.50 per hour
