What are the responsibilities and job description for the Press Brake Operator "1-2 year set up" WEEKEND Shift position at Triton Metal Products Inc?
Responsibilities:
- Read work orders, production schedules, and prints to determine specifications, such as materials to be used, locations of bend lines, the orientation of part before bending, and dimensions and tolerances.
- Measure completed workpieces to verify conformance to specifications, using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates, or rulers.
- Examine completed workpieces for defects such as cracked edges and marred surfaces, and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.
- Start machines, monitor their operations, and record operational data.
- Install, align, and lock specified punches, dies, cutting blades or other fixtures in rams or beds of machines, using gauges, templates, feelers, shims, and hand tools.
- Operate, position, align, or secure workpieces against fixtures or stops on machine beds or on dies to saw, cut, shear, slit, punch, crimp, notch, bend, or straighten metal.
- Lift dies and workpieces to machines manually.
- Adjust machine speeds, forces, and back gauges, according to product specifications, and use gauges and CNC controls to make adjustments.
- Clean and lubricate machines.
Requirements: 1-2 years with setting up
- High School Diploma or GED
- Detail-oriented and ability to multitask

Wages: $18.00 - $26.00
The shift premium for the weekend shift is $4/Hr.
