Quality Technician

Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to support our Quality Department in key inspection activities and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for maintaining high standards in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Final Inspection

• Perform and support daily final inspection activities, ensuring quality requirements are met.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and manageable inspection area.
• Notify the Quality Specialist and Department Group Lead when non-conformances are identified.
• Verify accuracy and completion of in-process inspection sheets.

Receiving Inspection

• Perform receiving inspections as needed to ensure raw materials (including hardware and other purchased components) meet acceptance standards.
• Complete and submit required documentation to the Quality Engineer.

Roaming Inspection

• Support the Quality Department in completing daily roaming inspections across the facility.
• Help identify opportunities to streamline the roaming and final inspection processes.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify improvement opportunities on production drawings (e.g., clarity, feasibility, additional required information).
• Submit ideas through the company’s suggestion system.
• Support other continuous improvement initiatives as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing quality role preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of quality inspection processes and tools.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
