Triton is seeking an Esports Coach to lead our high school Esports program. The coach will be responsible for building and mentoring a competitive Esports team, overseeing practices and competitions, and fostering a positive, inclusive, and supportive team environment. This role requires a combination of leadership, knowledge of Esports, and the ability to develop students both as athletes and as individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruit and organize players for the Esports team, ensuring a diverse and balanced roster.
Lead regular team practices, focusing on skill development, strategy, and teamwork.
Foster a positive team culture emphasizing sportsmanship, respect, and personal growth.
Provide individual player development through one-on-one coaching and feedback.
Monitor academic performance and behavior to ensure student-athletes maintain eligibility.
Prepare the team for local, regional, and national Esports competitions and tournaments.
Organize and manage team participation in league matches, scrimmages, and events.
Coordinate travel arrangements, schedules, and logistics for competitions (if applicable).
Analyze game footage and performance to help strategize for future matches.
Serve as the primary point of contact between the team, parents, and the school administration.
Promote the Esports program to the broader school community, encouraging student involvement.
Communicate regularly with students and parents regarding practice schedules, game results, and team activities.
Ensure that the team has access to necessary hardware, software, and other resources.
Oversee the maintenance and setup of the team’s gaming equipment and facilities.
Work with school administration to ensure the proper allocation of resources for the program.
