Requirement Summary
Our Advanced Technologies group is seeking a hands-on Lead Engineer to be part of a multi-disciplinary team working on projects that span a wide range of research area. The work will vary and encompass commercial, military, or medical technology projects. Innovation and technical problem solving will be a major part of your position along with the ability to work productively with a diverse team of researchers. Experience developing both hardware and software for embedded systems is highly desired.
Responsibilities
- Serve both as an individual contributor and lead a project team
- Take ownership of project success and maintain customer relationships
- Performing experiments in an independent & inventive manner
- Identify and manage project schedules and risks
- Documenting project progress
Desired qualifications would include some of the following:
- Proven ability to self-manage across multiple projects as a contributing team member
- Proven ability to lead a small group of cross functional engineers on technical project
- Interest and experience spanning multiple technical disciplines to solve complex problems
- Experience in both analog and digital signal processing
- Experience in Control System design and modeling
- Experience in Audio Engineering and Acoustics
- Ability to model and analyze circuits and systems
- Experience in Schematic and PCB design (Altium expertise is a plus)
- Experience with embedded microcontrollers
- Experience with programming languages and embedded systems
Education/Experience
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Acoustics, or closely related engineering field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- 5 years experience working in product design and prototype fabrication and testing is desired.
