Duties/Responsibilities:
The Lathe Machinist at Triumph Geared Solutions - Macomb is responsible for the operation and basic maintenance of CNC Lathes in the Lathe Department. The incumbent must be able to produce high-quality products according to Triumph Gear Systems Lathe department operations manual.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret, and apply information from engineering drawings
- Adhere to job plans per job travelers
- Set-up multiple types of jobs with fixtures
- Operate CNC Lathes
- Basic Maintenance of CNC Lathes
- Use precision measurement equipment
- Install and maintain cutting tools
- Consistently produce quality parts
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
- Other duties as assigned
