The Cost Estimator at Triumph Geared Solutions Macomb prepares an operational process structure cost estimate to the sales department. Duties/Responsibilities
Working from customer prints and specifications to evaluate products for relevancy with our capabilities
Prepares an operational process structure cost estimate to the sales department.
Provides an estimate of the required tools and fixtures to manufacture the part.
Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or a minimum of three years’ experience
In depth knowledge of aircraft gear and housing manufacturing processes or similar precision part manufacturing
Working knowledge of special processes such as NDT, heat treating, plating, coatings, painting, and shot peening
Ability to enter information into an ERP system
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Ability to use AutoCAD and Inventor is a plus
Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
Aerospace marketplace knowledge is preferred
Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Physical Requirements
Ability to remain seated for long periods of time while working on a computer or documentation, etc.
Must have manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and standard office equipment
Must be capable of withstanding long period of viewing data on a computer screen and/or paper format Triumph Offers Outstanding Benefits, Including:
