What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatch Supervisor position at Triumph Protection Group?
Job Summary:
The Dispatch Supervisor manages a dispatch center using a variety of tools that can range from alarm monitoring systems/CCTV and other tools to respond and alert internal and external customers regarding adverse conditions that may affect security operations, staff, facilities, and properties. The Dispatch Supervisor creates policies, trains dispatchers, and ensures proper staffing levels within the dispatch center to ensure effective operations.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Interview, hire, and train dispatchers.
- Oversee the daily workflow, schedules, and assignments of dispatchers.
- Ensures quality control, proper staffing levels, and safe operations within the dispatch center
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Monitor security cameras, access control and alarms and resolve intrusion alerts.
- Monitor, respond, and log radio calls for multiple areas and sites.
- Perform quality assurance functions to ensure accuracy of information.
- Demonstrate the ability to make appropriate decisions and exercise action during high tension stressful situations.
- Confirm incident and crisis situations.
- Execute multiple SOPs.
- Provide superior customer service.
- Identify and communicate potential threats to assets under company protection.
- Identify and respond to emergency situations with a sense of urgency.
- Dispatch officers to calls for service.
- Complete incident reports and support investigations
- Confirm security officers are at various sites and were on time. Call their managers if they are not and assist in getting them replaced so there is no or little lapse in coverage
- Reply to phone messages making sure the proper departments are contacted.
- Enter new work orders or revise work orders in GFX system as needed.
- Respond to all emails in a timely manner
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to effectively use or learn computer systems CCTV and Networked Video Systems, Alarm monitoring systems, Telephone, and Instant Messaging systems.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Open-Source searches)
- Excellent customer service focused attitude

- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Education and Experience:
- Education GED or High School Diploma
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
Physical requirements:

- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 15 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 30 pounds.
