Founded in 1990 by Mr. Eduardo Gutierrez and operating as The Student Alternatives Program, we rebranded in 2019 to Triumph Public High Schools. We specialize in serving high school students who are placed at-risk in completing their high school education. Responsibilities: The Student Services Facilitator facilitates an environment of growth and acceptance by coordinating appropriate services for all of the school’s students with truancy and other disciplinary issues and maintain stronger connections program compliance in keeping with district, state, and federal policies and procedures. Responsibilities include: managing the school’s case management system; developing related goals, objectives and planning, implementing and working with staff in evaluating the stronger connections program and services; and acting as a liaison with other charter district staff, serving as a resource of information regarding stronger connections program and services. Significant time is required for analyzing data, planning activities, monitoring programs/services, attending meetings, supporting staff members and parents, and consulting with program personnel. This position may require some occasional work on Saturday’s, over the summer and some travel within the state of Texas.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree required
• TEA certification in Guidance and Counseling (EC-12) preferred
• Must have knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal methods, and career development resources
• Must have demonstrated experience and ability to develop classroom schedules, prepare individual graduation plans, maintain accurate student records and identify community and other resources for scholarships, financial and other assistance for which students or their families have a demonstrated social or emotional need
• Candidates must be computer literate
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
• Ability to read, write and understand English required
• Required to pass a pre-employment fingerprinting as part of the background check
• Required to submit original college transcripts, service records and credentials within first 30 days of employment

Pay Range Based on Education, Experience, Certifications and/or Credentials:

$45,000-$51,000 per year

*Annually salary is calculated at a prorated rate from effective date of hire
