Triumph Sheets, a division of an industry leader in the manufacture of corrugated packaging, currently has an outstanding opportunity for the position of Maintenance Supervisor. As Maintenance Supervisor you will assist with the oversight of the maintenance operations using predictive and preventative maintenance to maximize plant and production equipment uptime. In this role, you will impact the development of the mechanics/electricians by assisting the Maintenance Manager with coaching and leadership to ensure adherence to preferred maintenance practices to maximize efficiency and safety.

- Follow all safety and company policies and procedures including maintaining good housekeeping, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assigned.
- Administers and models safety in all areas that the maintenance department touches. Participates in and enforces all safety policies, rules, and procedures. Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures and all applicable laws and regulations, including federal and/or state required environmental systems, OSHA Safety and Health rules, fire and electrical safety codes and manuals, and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to plan and provide instructions to all maintenance work activities associated with maintenance work orders and planned maintenance functions including daily, weekend and/or regular PMs. Ensure the maintenance and preventive maintenance of corrugating plant process equipment to achieve results; ensure all equipment is running properly and meets operational requirements.
- Provides a process to receive feedback from plant maintenance technicians completing jobs to adjust and improve future work plans. Regularly inspect equipment/machine to help identify mechanical/electrical issues with the team to maximize capacity of the machine.
- Communicate directly with the operations team members to coordinate all maintenance and repair work in process areas.
- Conduct an initial screening of all incoming work orders to identify the scope of work and talent needed to plan the job to maximize productivity and effectiveness.
- Estimate work hours, parts availability, and asset availability requirements. Engage in daily and shut down maintenance planning.
- Keep management informed of problems or situations that may affect the department’s performance including work conduct, team performances and/or safety violations including outside contractors.
- Lead downtime planning such as scope identification and control, scheduling, risk assessments, execution, and sustainability.
- Ability to lead others by being an example. Take ownership and accountability of work orders performed to the highest standards set by management.
- Work closely with the purchaser to ensure that the proper inventory of maintenance parts and equipment is available. Utilize, maintain and maximize the MVP system.
- Must be willing to work flexible schedule.
- Ensure proper completion of all required paperwork neatly, correctly, and in accordance with Company guidelines by all maintenance personnel.
- 5 years related experience and/or training in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of technical school education and experience.
- Previous manufacturing, preferably Corrugated industry experience, supervising overall maintenance functions.
- GED or high school diploma
- Ability to read and understand mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, steam systems, and electrical schematics.
- Working knowledge of maintenance technique and equipment (i.e., pumps, valves, motors, gearboxes).
- Excellent people skills and communication, both verbal and written. Ability to exhibit a ‘can do’ approach and inspire others to excel.
- Strong attention to detail. Must be organized with great time management skills to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong work ethic with emphasis on safety. Safety mindset with thorough understanding of safety policies and procedures.
