Engineering Intern, Industrial
Triumph Title: Intern, Engineering
Reports to: Director, OEM Operations
Summary
Triumph Actuation Products and Services – Clemmons is seeking candidates for an Engineering Internship with a focus on Industrial Engineering. This internship will provide a college-level student with practical experience related to his or her major in engineering that will enhance and complement their classroom learning.
Summer internship in the Triumph – Clemmons OEM Operations department, will include rotations thru the following departments: Pumps and Motors, Actuation and Valves
The Industrial Engineering activities, depending on experience, may include items such as time studies, continuous improvement projects, tooling design, document/report review and writing, supporting failure investigations, updating various department databases and metrics files.
If applicable, the Quality department activities, depending on experience, will include hands on experience with developing and setting inspection techniques, process improvement, FAA Internal procedure updates, and assisting with internal audits.
Other activities may be assigned as required and depending on demonstrated capability.

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in an ABET accredited program for Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Aerospace Engineering
- Completed first year of college
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with demonstrated fluency in English
- Experience with continuous improvement, lean/six sigma methodologies
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs
